Yesterday a new statue of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother was unveiled. Sited at the bottom of Carlton Terrace on the Mall it joins the statue of her husband George V.I The whole setting of the original monument has been given a facelift, and the two statues have been joined by a couple of bronze friezes.
